Terms for shops
What you are responsible for
- Honouring the memberships you sell, on the terms you set.
- Your own tax. What you charge members is your revenue; our fee is a cost you can claim. Your monthly invoice is the record.
- Completing Stripe’s verification. Until Stripe has verified you, your page is live but cannot take payment.
- Being accurate about what a plan includes. The commitment shown to a member before they pay is the one you have to honour.
What we are responsible for
- Running the service, keeping your members’ balances correct, and taking only the fee that was in force when a payment was made.
- Telling you before we change your rate, and never applying a change retrospectively.
- Not marketing to your customers, not selling them another shop, and not keeping them if you leave.
- Giving you your data on request, in a format you can use elsewhere.
Leaving
Close the shop whenever you like, from your own dashboard. Your plans shut to new members immediately, your existing members stop renewing and keep the period they have already paid for, and anyone still inside their first fourteen days is refunded. There is no notice period and no exit fee.
Once nothing is running you can delete your account outright. Your name, email and phone number are removed from everything we hold; the payment records and the invoices your accountant may need are kept for six years with your name taken out of them.
Your members’ data is yours as well as ours. We are joint controllers, so a customer asking us to erase them does not erase them from your own books, and one asking you does not reach ours. Point them at whichever of us they have not asked yet.
