Getting set up
Stripe hasn’t finished verifying you. Open your dashboard and follow the Stripe link. It usually wants a business detail or a document you haven’t uploaded yet.
Until that’s done your shop page is live but the join button is off, so nobody can pay for something you can’t deliver.
When a member arrives
Open the scanner and search their name or phone number instead. You get the same screen and the same redemption. The QR code is a shortcut, not the only way in.
Money
7% of each membership payment, or £1 if that’s more, plus VAT where it applies. The £1 only comes in on plans under £14.29 a month, where 7% is less than £1: on a £10 plan it’s £1, on a £30 plan it’s £2.10.
There is no monthly fee and no setup fee. Stripe’s card fee is separate, and Stripe’s own.
