Memberships for local shops

Turn Your Regular Customers Into Monthly Revenue

They already come back every three or four weeks. Monthlygo lets them pay like it: a monthly membership, bought from your own shop page, redeemed with a scan when they walk in.

No monthly fee. Nothing to pay until you sell a membership.

£0

To set up, and £0 a month after that.

7%

Of the membership payments you take. Nothing when you take nothing.

2 sec

To redeem a visit at the chair, from the phone in your pocket.

How it works

Three things to set up, then it runs itself.

Step one

Price your month

Two cuts for £28. A fill and a file for £35. Whatever you already charge, said by the month instead of by the visit. You set the visits, the price and whether unused ones roll over.

Step two

Put your code on the mirror

You get a page with your shop’s name on it and a QR code to go with it. On the mirror, on the counter, in your bio. A customer joins in about a minute, on their own phone, while they wait.

Step three

Scan, serve, done

They show you their code. You scan it from the phone in your pocket. The visit comes off their month and the next one shows on screen. Neither of you installs anything.

One phone held up to another across the shop counter.

At the chair

Two seconds, and it’s already off their month.

No card, no app, no asking anyone to remember a password while the next customer waits. They hold up their code, you scan, and the screen tells you the one thing you need to know: whether this visit is covered.

If it isn’t, for any reason (expired card, month used up, someone else’s code), it says so plainly, in a sentence you can read aloud without anybody feeling caught out.

  • Works offline and catches up when the wifi returns
  • A double-scan asks before it takes a second visit
  • Anyone on your team can redeem, one code each

Your money

It doesn’t pass through us.

Every membership payment goes from your customer’s card straight into your own Stripe account. Our 7% comes off at the moment of the charge, not out of a balance we are holding on your behalf.

There is no float, no payout schedule of ours to wait on, and no week where your takings are sitting in someone else’s company. If Monthlygo disappeared tonight, your money would already be in your bank.

What it costs

A shop owner standing beside the chair in their own shop.

Your shop

Your name on the page. Ours in the small print.

Customers see your shop, your plans and your prices. They are not browsing a marketplace of shops and they are not being sold anything else. We don’t email them, we don’t advertise to them, and we never put another shop in front of them.

Straight answers

The things people ask first.

You keep the payment. That is the deal a membership makes, in both directions. Some months they get more than they paid for, some months less, and it evens out over a year.

Set the visits per month at a number you would be happy with either way. If you would rather nothing went to waste, turn on rollover and unused visits carry into the next month, up to a cap you choose.

Set it up this afternoon.

Your shop page, your first plan and your QR code take about ten minutes. You’ll need your Stripe details to take money, and we’ll walk you through it.
